Back for another prompt at 
for Inktober. The day's prompt was "Family." I decided to go a slightly different route and drew a different kind of family; pet and owner. 
Incidentally, I've drawn Esmeralda once before (long long ago)--and that time I also drew her with Djali. 
I guess they're inseparable in my mind.
My scanner ate some of the details in Esmeralda's scarf, though. C'est la vie, that's what you get with a cheapie scanner.
