Description

Still he shook his head, and finally he drew her to him very gently and stooped to kiss her, but first he looked into her eyes and waited to learn if she would be pleased, or if she would repulse him.
Just and instant the girl hesitated, and then she realized the truth, and throwing her arms about his neck she drew his face to hers and kissed him--unashamed.
"I love you--I love you," she murmured.

The quote above is from the book. Ah, I love Mr. Burroughs' writing.
If you've never read the book, I suggest that you do--it is completely different from Disney's movie. It's very, very good.

You know, despite having read the book, I still love Disney's Tarzan... I think it's because no matter what book/story Disney interprets, even if they butcher the story, they typically keep all the characters themselves. Jane and Tarzan are kept very much themselves (Now, Clayton and Tantor on the other hand...). The only real big difference that I can think of, is that Jane is American, not English. But, that's really a minor change, so I don't care. :P

Yep, I love Disney's Tarzan. Except for Turk and Tantor. They don't make me laugh. Well, maybe a couple of their jokes are good... but that is not enough to please Misty.

I was really tempted to change Jane's hair from brown to blond (because she is blond in the book), but I thought it would be better to keep her the way Disney designed her.
You know, I don't really get why Disney made Jane a brunette (not that I really care, but I'd like to know why). The only reasons I can think of, is because they wanted to differentiate her from Aurora and Cinderella. That, or they wanted to pay homage to the lovely Maureen O'Sullivan, who had dark hair. X3

And on the subject of Maureen O'Sullivan, and therefore the old Tarzan movies... Johnny Weissmuller totally had the best Tarzan call. No one has done it better than him.

Humm, I really like the look of painted backgrounds with cel-shaded figures. So, I did it again! XD
And, I realized that I had only done Cel-shading with gradients twice so far for the collection, so I did a little bit of that, too.
