"Her name is not Sticks! She's Elora Dannen, the future empress of Tir Asleen and the last thing she's gonna want is a hairy chest!"

My little tribute to 80s/90s Hot Dads continues! This time with a little Hot Dad; Willow Ufgood. He's such a sweetheart! I just love that he's an established married man with two children. It's exceptionally rare to have a fantasy lead character who is married, a father, and a dwarf. And of course since I'm in the healthcare biz now I had to look up what kind of Dwarfism Warwick Davis has: it's spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita, a rare form of dwarfism (most common dwarfism is achondroplasia).
Willow is a wonderful film. Extremely charming and a good old fashioned adventure~ Plus lovely music and awesome special effects (back when special effects were, you know, special).

I've seen the movie. How they cast so many achondroplastics to create a village, intrigues me.
