I had been meaning to draw Tanya for a long long time, so I thought I'd finally get around to her~!
One of my favorite little details in An American Tale is how Tanya's name was changed to Tilly when the Mousekewitz family immigrated to America. Awesome touch.
Also Tanya's babushka is adorable and it makes me happy.
I do love the sequel for AAT (even though it is completely tonally different from the first film), and did consider drawing Tanya as she appeared in that film, but ultimately I could not resist the babushka.
