This is a rare couple that is one of my favorites, but they don't come from one of my favorite movies. Don't misunderstand me--I do like this movie a lot. It's just on my 'I like it' list, not my 'Favorite' list. C:
This movie was pretty close to being my 'I like it, but..." list. There were just a few too many 'eh' jokes, and the music was also a bit of a problem for me; it was an interesting choice and chance that they took making it more Gospel. And sometimes it works very well (there are a few songs that I really love)... but overall Gospel just isn't my thing, so. Yeah. It didn't work for me.
What really saves this movie, for me anyway, is the style. It's so unique and just flat-out cool. And the designs. Such hawt designs. Like, to the max. I love every single design they came up with for this movie. And, of course, the characters. They are each very much themselves, they interact so convincingly, and they all have their own distinct flavor.

Yeah, I was playing around with bright dusky lighting. I really like it, myself. But... you guys know how much I love bright saturated colors, so. Ehe. Yeah. I know not everyone is into it like I am.

Their hair was undoubtedly my favorite part to draw. I just really love drawing twisted and curling hair like this--and exaggerating it. Way too much fun. (^:
Oh, and I totally loved drawing their faces, but that's a given.
