Description

Jean-Marc Clement: I'm just thinking.
Amanda Dell: About what?
Jean-Marc Clement: About how happy you are.
Amanda Dell: Me? Happy?
Jean-Marc Clement: Mmm Hmm. You seem able to forget yourself. That's the way you dance and you walk down the street that way too. You seem at home wherever you are. It must be a great feeling.

Finally finished this one up! I was picking away at this verrrrry slowly.
I woulda been done a long time ago, but.... my muse, it made me work on my comic instead. X3

Here we have Marilyn Monroe as Amanda Dell, and Yves Montand as Jean-Marc Clement.
They're from the 1960 musical, Let's Make Love. I actually picked up this movie on a whim. It had Marilyn Monroe, so it couldn't go completely wrong! And it didn't. It's a very, very cute movie. Not my absolute favorite Monroe picture (that would be Some Like it Hot ), but yeah. It's a good one! <:^)

Have I mentioned that I love Marilyn Monroe? Because I do. Very underrated actress. And, you know, she was one of the most beautiful women to grace the Earth with her presence. <:^3
I will be doing more pictures with her.
I can't say much about Yves Montand, though... I've only seen him in this movie. I know that he was a big french star, though. So that's cool. C:

You can watch part of the song, 'My Heart Belongs to Daddy' here: [link]

Well, I can't think of anything else to say except that I had a lot of fun with this! Simple, but I like it a lot. :) I got to do lotsa fun colors.

You get a :iconfreeinternetplz: for this
Marilyn was one of the most amazing women to ever appear onscreen, both in beauty and talent, and Let's Make Love is one of my all-time favorites of her films.
